Description
Comprising an ivory satin fitted top that achieves
its shape from five front waist darts,and lacing
at the back,hand-made lacing grommets and thread
ties,short muslin sleeves with undersleeves,self
piping at shoulders and neckline and trim of fine
Alencon lace and narrow silk ribbon rosettes (5"
shoulders,8 " waist). Along with an ivory silk
faille jacket with fitted hips and waist,length
coat sleeves,hook and eye closure with tiny ivory
silk bows and ribbon (3" shoulder width. 5"
waist). Circa 1875.
