Description
3 " shoulder width. 7" waist. 11" overall length.
Of thickly-ribbed white pique,the ensemble
features a short boxy-shaped jacket whose angled
neckline is hidden by a large middy-style collar
that extends over the shoulders of the long narrow
sleeves and forms a wide collar at the back. Along
with pleated matching skirt with inset panel of
cut-work near the hem. The collar is constructed
of embroidered cut-work laid on a white
background,and edged with embroidered cut-work
cotton. Circa 1900.
