glass enamel eyes with iris-blue outer rims,thick
dark eyeliner,painted lashes,mauve-blushed eye
shadow,widely-arched brush-stroked and feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed
mouth with shaded and accented lips,pierced
ears,brunette mohair wig,cork pate,French
composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed
body,straight wrists. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 9 (incised,head). Comments:
Emile Jumeau,circa 1877. Value Points: outstanding
painting of facial features enhancing the lovely
pale bisque,original body and body finish,original
early Jumeau chemise,black kid shoes,and having
her original factory costume comprising
quilted-pique princess-style dress with matching
cutwork-trimmed cape,along with a second pique
dress,undergarments including hidden coin pocket
(with little blue hair ribbon and lock of
hair),woolen stockings,gloves.
