Bisque socket head with rounded facial shape,brown glass sleep eyes that operate from wire lever at the back of head,painted lashes with dot highlights,brush-stroked and fringed brows,rose-blushed eye shadow,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig over Steiner pate,French composition fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Sie C 5 (incised head) J. Steiner Bte SGDG Bourgoin (tiny red stamp on head) J. Steiner (eyes) (cadeceus stamp on torso). Comments: Jules Steiner,circa 1884. Value Points: especially beautiful and rare-to-find model with exquisite complexion and blush,original pate,body,body finish,and fine antique costume.
