22" (56 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with
honey-toned complexion,plumply-modeled face,small
blue enamel glass inset eyes,daintily-fringed
lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth with downcast pouty
expression,inserted brunette hair,softly-stuffed
muslin torso and upper limbs,poured wax lower arms
and legs,bare feet. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: English,circa 1880,in the
Montanari manner. Value Points: most endearing
expression with beautiful eyes,wearing antique
gown,undergarments,and bonnet,lavishly trimmed
with tucks,embroidery and lace.
