Description
11" (28 cm.) x 7". A lightwood box is covered with
burgundy faux-leather paper cover and decorated
with silver corner mounts and handle,a silver
plaque inscribed"Papeterie" on the inside
front,and an elaborate fold-out construction.
Included are feather-shaped silver handle for pen
point,and three various other silver pens,along
with a large assortment of various stationery and
cards,several calling cards,two silver-capped ink
wells and a pair of bottles labeled"Violette
Parfumee",presumably to scent the stationery.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1890.
