23" (58 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid bebe body with square-cut collarette, gusset-jointing at hips, knees and elbows, bisque forearms with sculpted fingers in expressive pose, defined knuckles and nails. Condition: there is an old hairline on forehead from right crown rim to outer edge of right brow, body very sturdy and fresh, perfect bisque hands and shoulderplate. Marks: A. 10 T. (head and shoulders). Comments: Andre Thuillier, circa 1880. Value Points: the early period Bebe A.T. is exceptionally beautiful with splendid paperweight eyes and finest artistic painting, original body with perfect bisque hands.
