Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,brown glass eyes,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,accented eye corners and
nostrils,closed mouth with blushed cheeks,pierced
ears,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,kid poupee
body with shapely torso and gusset-jointing.
Condition: generally excellent,body especially
sturdy and clean except one finger broken. Marks:
5 (head and shoulderplate) F.G. (shoulder plate).
Comments: Gaultier,circa 1875. Value Points: the
gorgeous brown-eyed poupee with original body is
wearing an exhibition costume of silk,lace and
brocade with applique trims of gold metallic
threads and opalescent beading,undergarments,cast
gilt crown with faux-diamond accents.
