Description
3" (8 cm.) inside head width. The domed-shaped cap
is stiffly woven to provide protection to the head
of a child just learning to walk,and is decorated
with a maroon velvet bow and mother-of-pearl
buckle,and has muslin lining. French,circa
1880,the"walking cap" was known as bourrelet.
Excellent condition.
