Description
11" (28 cm.) x 10". Set within matching wooden frames with gold leaf finish, each is a finely wrought silk embroidered scene, one depicting a young girl in red gown seated in the garden alongside a reclining lion and donkey, and the other depicts a young girl in garden-like setting placing flowers on a bower with embroidered name "Shakespeare". Very good condition, one has slight wear to silk background. English, early 1800s.
