21" (53 cm.) h. 22" head circumference. A dramatic bisque mannequin model head,created larger-than-life-size for display in luxury boutique,has swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom,elongated throat,aquiline nose,almond shaped blue glass paperweight eyes,dark eyeliner,painted dark curly lashes,rose-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with shaded and accented lips,pierced ears,brunette hand-tied human hair,lovely antique bonnet. Condition: generally excellent,old hairline from outside corner of right eye to ear. Comments: attributed to Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1880; an identical model to this is shown in The Bru Book by Theimer,page 80. Value Points: exceptional work of splendid beauty,finest quality bisque and painting,few examples are know to exist.
