kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom
and shoulder blades,very full cheeks,brown glass
paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted curly
lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,brush-stroked and
multi-feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,pierced ears,closed mouth with outlined
shaded lips,brunette mohair wig over cork pate,kid
bebe body with plump torso,gusset-jointed hips and
knees,curved kid upper arms,bisque hands.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (circle dot
symbol on head). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa
1880. Value Points: superbly-preserved condition
of the early model with superlative bisque and
sculpting,very sturdy and clean original
body,perfect bisque hands with
artistically-sculpted fingers and knuckles,fine
antique linen dress with embroidered
detail,handkerchief,undergarments,beautiful woven
straw bonnet with silk ribbon trim,original
