17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,pale blue/grey glass enamel
eyes,dark eyeliner,dark painted lashes,arched
feathered brows,accented eye corners and
nostrils,closed mouth with full outlined
lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig in elaborate
coiffure,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing and
shapely torso. Condition: generally
excellent,tiniest flake or firing flaw at inside
corner of right eye. Marks: E. 4 B. Comments:
Blampoix,circa 1870. Value Points: exquisite
portrait-like face with very beautifully defined
features,especially aquiline nose,and wearing
splendid antique rose silk gown with black lace
trim,extended train on both gown and
petticoat,undergarments,leather boots.
