Description
9" (23 cm.) Each is one-piece head,torso and legs
depicting a young child,one posed knee-knocked and
the other posed as though tottering,each with
loop-jointed bisque arms,and each clothed in
all-bisque bunny costume including pink-lined
ears; each has painted facial
features,side-glancing eyes,"O" shaped or smiling
mouth,and each is attached to a bisque candy
container in the shape of a large decorated egg.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 9663 (short
suit) 6840 (long suit). Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: rare and
charming holiday-themed characters with very
expressive faces,fine sculpting.
