Description
3.5" (9 cm.) Each is all-wooden doll with sculpted
black hair and painted facial features and
complexion,articulation at shoulders,elbows,hips
and knees. Each doll is wearing its original
velvet or silk costume with feather-stitch
embroidery,and has elongated faux-ermine velvet
cape with train. Included with the dolls are a
pair of velvet-covered kneeling stands. Condition:
generally excellent,some wear to paint on back of
woman's hair. Comments: Grodnertal,early-19th
century. Value Points: rare miniature pair of
royalty wooden dolls in their original costumes.
