27" (69 cm.) Bisque socket head, amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner, mauve blushed eye shadow, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, French composition fully-jointed body with straight wrists, beautiful antique costume and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Jumeau 12 (incised) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1884, the model was made for a short period only. Value Points: rare Jumeau model, especially in this size, has exemplary modeling and bisque, especially fine painting around her eyes and mouth.
