bisque torso,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,blue
glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed
mouth,blonde mohair wig,wearing original silk
costume and wide-brimmed pressed felt hat.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany
for the French market,circa 1890. Value Points:
all original costume,the little boy carries a
carved bone violin and carved bone birdcage with
hinged door,both French and beautifully
constructed,circa 1885.
