Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes and brows, mohair lashes, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden fully-jointed lady body with modeled bosom and shapely waist. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1159 Germany Simon & Halbig 7 S&H (head) Handwerck (body). Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. Value Points: finest original condition, wearing fine antique costume portraying fashionably-dressed lady of the Edwardian era, her hair arranged in up-swept coiffure decorated with hair combs, and wearing ivory satin gown accented with tiny beads and seed pearls, matching beaded shoes, gloves, and ivory satin wooden-handled parasol.
