12" (30 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head,pale blue inset eyes with spiral threading,painted lashes,lightly feathered brows,shaded nostrils,closed mouth with accented lips,pierced ears,original lambswool wig with fragments of remaining Jumeau comb,cork pate,French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists,along with some pieces of original simple costumes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Emile Jumeau,circa 1878,first period bebe. Value Points: virtually unplayed with condition,having original wig,and flawless original body,and having early leather shoes marked Paris 5,and original earrings.
