9" (23 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque
shoulder plate,sculpted blonde hair waved
delicately away from her face into arranged
ringlet curls at the back and held by a sculpted
black hair bow,painted blue eyes with pronounced
black eyeliner,lightly-feathered brows and
lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center
accent line,old muslin body with bisque lower
limbs,painted white stockings with purple ribbon
ties and grey heeled ankle boots,frail silk
costume. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
attributed to Simon and Halbig,circa 1875. Value
Points: exquisite painting of facial features with
dramatic eyes,rare coiffure,original body.
