12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque head with flat-cut
neck socket,blue glass inset eyes with darker blue
iris rims,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed
mouth with center accent line,un-pierced
ears,blonde mohair curly wig,composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with neck
dowel for attachment to head. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Germany,attributed to Ernst
Grossman,circa 1880. Value Points: rare doll with
original rare body and body finish,beautiful
gentle expression,lovely bisque,in virtually
unplayed with condition and having superb original
lace and muslin gown,undergarments,matching lace
bonnet,booties.
