18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, small brown glass sleep eyes with defined upper eyelids, thick upper eyeliner and fringe-painted upper lashes, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth modeled with slightly-parted lips as though about to speak, defined space between the lips, two painted upper teeth, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 112 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912, from the firm's art character series. Value Points: rarest glass-eyed variation of the sought-after model, with superb modeling especially around the mouth, finest bisque with gleaming complexion and lustrous lips, original body and body finish, fine antique body.
