22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with very full
cheeks and chin,blue glass paperweight inset
eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly-painted
lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth with shaded and
accented lips,separately modeled pierced
ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French
composition and wooden fully-jointed body with
straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: Depose 10 (incised,head) Jumeau Medaille
d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa
1884,the model was made for one year only. Value
Points: very beautiful bebe with great depth of
eyes,loveliest bisque and painting,original
wig,body,body finish,blue sateen dress,along with
antique undergarments,stockings,aqua kidskin shoes
and woven lace bonnet with blue ribbons.
