2" (5 cm.) inside head width. 4"fan. An elaborately-covered aqua silk bonnet with wire-framed brim features draped and ruched silk at the back enhanced with bows and ribbons,a ruffled self-brim,and two layers of ruffled cotton lace forming the inside brim,with silk lining. Along with a folding light-wood fan with painted silver designs over the white ground,feathered trim,and an aqua silk ribbon. Excellent condition,bonnet slightly dusty and streamer ribbons worn. French,circa 1880,very rare to find petite bonnet with luxury-quality construction.
