Description
28" (71 cm.) x 20" framed. Issued by the Jumeau
firm in 1889 to commemorate the International
Exposition in Paris,the poster was presented in
the form of "Grand Game of Jumeau's Doll" and
featured a contest of the German dolls and French
dolls competing to climb the Eiffel Tower that had
been constructed for that Exposition. The poster
was issued by Jumeau in two language versions,this
being the rare English version "dedicated to the
young Americans". Excellent condition,gilded
wooden frame. France,1889.
