30" (76 cm.) x 22" . A poster for holiday Etrennes
gifts from the Paris doll and toy store,Au Nain
Bleu,features a dapper gentleman standing with his
arms enclosing a bounty of childhood
treasures,presumably just purchased for the lucky
children that are clamoring in the foreground. The
toys include dolls,drums,pull-toy horses,jack in
the box,and the ever-beloved Polichinelle. The
address shown is in Rue des Capucines,dating the
poster prior to 1910 when the store moved its
location from that street. In wooden frame.
Excellent condition.
