Description
4" (10 cm.) Of fine white porcelain,decorated with
blue borders and garlands of roses and
bluettes,with trailing vines and gilt edging,the
dresser set comprises wash bowl and pitcher,small
bowl,two covered powder or trinket boxes,and a
crystal glass bottle with prismatic stopper. The
set is resting in original wooden box with
lithographed-paper cover designed to appear as
fine rosewood,and labeled "Toilette" in gilt
lettering. Excellent condition. French,circa 1875.
