10" (25 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso,very plump face and throat with defined "double chin" and full cheeks,blue glass inset eyes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with defined space between the lips,waist-length brunette mohair wig,peg-jointed bisque arms and legs,modeled bent elbows and cupped hands,very plump muscular legs with tiny ankles,painted knee-high white ribbed stockings,yellow ankle boots with five black laces and heels,wearing lovely antique white-wear costume,undergarments and fabulous woven bonnet. Condition: generally excellent,fine professional restoration at the left elbow only. Marks: 5. Comments: Kestner,circa 1885. Value Points: exceptionally rare grand size of an all-bisque,accentuated by unusual modeling of very plump face,an astounding so-called "wrestler" style body accented with blushing details,double chin with fat roll at the back of her neck and very beautiful bisque.
