18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,painted features,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,blonde mohair wig over plaster pate,composition and wooden ball-jointed body with straight wrists,wearing original folklore costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C 1/2 made in Germany 7 1/2 152 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner,circa 1900. Value Points: pretty child with original wig,pate,body,body finish,original folklore costume,and having old 1930 paper label noting that the doll "Ethelyn" was "dressed in a Swiss costume,and bought in Paris more than 60 years ago,given by Miss Anna M. Hall".
