Description
3.5" (9 cm.) inside head width of bonnet. 9"
bonnet height. The high-brimmed bonnet is covered
with rich silk/velvet on the back and decorated
with aqua silk faille bow and an airy
feather,while the inside brim is formed of
richly-gathered and ruched aqua silk; along with a
tufted maroon silk hankie folio with cord
edging,and with two pairs of leather shoes with
bow or rhinestone trim,including 3" shoes for
Jumeau marked "Paris Depose 8" with bee symbol,and
3 1/4" shoes marked "Rabery" and "2". Excellent
condition. French,circa 1888.
