17" (43 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket
head,deeply-sculpted light brown hair with casual
curls all over the head and onto his forehead,grey
painted upper-glancing eyes in deeply-set eye
sockets,black upper eyeliner,single-stroke brown
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with full
lips,impressed cheek dimples,composition and
wooden ball-jointed body,wearing antique lined
silk vest,shirt,pants,striped stockings,black
ankle boots. Marks: 153 S&H. Condition: generally
excellent,original body and body finish. Comments:
Simon and Halbig,from their art character
series,of which only three models were made,circa
1910. Value Points: an outstanding example of the
very rare model has finest bisque,sculpting and
painting,wonderful costume.
