13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with
slender angular face,sculpted light brown hair
with well-defined locks of curls onto his
forehead,pale blue painted eyes in deeply-cut eye
sockets,brown upper eyeliner,single-stroke
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with solemn
expression,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,wearing antique flannel suit with matching
cap,leather boots. Condition: generally
excellent,original body and body finish. Marks:
153 S&H. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa
1910,from their very rare art character series.
Value Points: the very rare model has especially
fine sculpting of solemn expression,and is
wonderfully costumed.
