Description
4" (10 cm.) Porcelain half doll depicting a young
girl with grey sculpted hair arranged with topknot
and ringlet curls decorated with a yellow
bow,having a sculpted white draped shawl over a
green bodice and small yellow bows at her wrists,a
gold beaded necklace,and with arms delicately
extended forward,a bouquet of colorful pansies
held in her right hand. Excellent condition,some
few typical flakes on Dresden petals. The model
appeared on the cover of The Collector's
Encyclopedia of Half Dolls by Frieda Marion and
Norma Werner. Stamped with Kister blue mark.
