15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque shoulder plate,blue glass enamel eyes with
spiral threading and darker-blue iris
rims,pronounced black pupils,dark eyeliner,painted
lashes,mauve-blushed eye shadow,feathered
brows,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed
mouth with defined space between the outlined
lips,pierced ears,sparse lambswool wig over cork
pate,French kid bebe body with plump
torso,gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque
forearms with separately sculpted fingers.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 0 (head and
shoulders). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa
1880,his first period bebe. Value Points: very
sweet face is enhanced by gorgeous deep blue
spiral threaded eyes,very sturdy original
body,perfect bisque hands,lovely antique costume.
