17" (43 cm.) Celluloid socket head with character
expression,painted facial features,blue upper
glancing eyes,thick upper eyeliner,painted
brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth,brunette human hair wig,five-piece celluloid
body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: made
in Norway Vare-Merke,Ronnaug Petterson (hang tag
on dress). Comments: circa 1950,the doll wears her
original traditional folklore costume of Hardanger
region of Norway with elaborate accessories,and
has original store label from Carson,Pirie and
Scott store of Chicago. Value Points: pristine
condition of the costume and doll,with elaborate
accessories,store label,and in original box with
maker's label.
