17" (43 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and
painted facial features,brown painted short hair
with defined forelock curl,painted green eyes with
large black pupils and white eyedots,black and
brown upper eyeliner,tinted brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with pouting
expression,stitch-jointed shoulders,disc-jointed
legs,nicely costumed in the Kathe Kruse style.
Condition: generally excellent,tiny nose rub.
Marks: Kathe Kruse (feet). Comments: Kathe
Kruse,her first series model,circa 1915. Value
Points: appealing wistful expression achieved by
artful painting and deeply pressed features.
