20" (51 cm.) Depicting a pair of
frivolously-costumed performers known,for obvious
reasons,as Tassel Twins,as a pair of silk tassels
with cone-shaped caps crown their heads,whitened
faces in the theatrical manner with exaggerated
painting and blush of facial features,cloth
wrapped armature bodies designed to sit or
stand,sculpted hands and lower legs,and each
wearing its original matching costume in silk and
velvet. The dolls are signed by the artist Nancy
Wiley,1998. Excellent condition. From the Anne
Rice Collection. One-of-a-kind.
