Description
21" (53 cm.) Of wax with superbly-sculpted facial
planes and features,he with glass enamel eyes,and
open mouth with teeth and tell-tale fangs,and she
with eyes modeled closed and slightly-defined
teeth. He is holding her as though a captive and
she is posed helplessly,her head thrown
backward,her bosom and long slender legs sculpted
of wax. Each is elegantly garbed in silks and
laces. Excellent condition. 1990s,created by the
artist Liz Shaw,a special commission for Anne
Rice,portraying the beloved character Lestat,and a
victim,from her novel The Vampire Chronicles.
Included is an autographed photograph of the
author with the dolls. One-of-a-kind.
