Bisque socket head with heart-shaped face and slender elongated throat,blue glass sleep eyes,painted lashes,mohair lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,brunette mohair wig,composition and wooden fully-jointed slender flapper-style body with elongated limbs,feet posed for high heels,wearing beautiful coral crepe de chine dress with hand-painted designs,undergarments,original shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1469 Simon & Halbig 2. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1920,for Dressel,the doll was a companion to their model 1468 (see lot 181). Value Points: the most desirable and lovely of the flapper-series ladies,this having exemplary bisque and sculpting,original body and body finish.
