16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,slightly-parted lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,antique hand-tied brunette human hair in ringlet curls,pierced ears,unusual registered body with muslin torso having wooden-ridged waist which,when turned side to side,causes the head to turn,composition and wooden ball-jointed lower arms and legs,lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1019 SH 6 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1890. Value Points: rare and delightful facial model,having very full cheeks enhanced by impressed cheek dimples,defined dimpled chin,rare body body in beautiful condition.
