Sculpted wax portrait doll depicting Vittorio the Vampire from the Anne Rice novel of the same name,having superbly sculpted angular face,brown glass eyes,painted features,open mouth with sculpted teeth including two tell-tale fangs,brown flowing hair,wax be-jeweled hands,cloth-padded armature body with rich maroon velvet and silk costumer,and tall boots,posed reclining in a seemingly-nonchalant manner upon a wood-framed chair (which is included). Excellent condition. 1990s,the doll was commissioned from artist Liz Shaw by Anne Rice's publisher Knopt upon the publication of her novel Vittorio. An autographed photograph of Anne Rice with the doll is included. One-of-a-kind.
