17" (43 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure depicting
a cheerful-faced young girl with sculpted blue
ruffled bonnet with blue ribbon streamers,brown
sculpted hair,intaglio blue side-glancing
eyes,impressed dimples and laughter lines,closed
mouth modeled as though open in laughing
expression with double row of teeth,impressed
dimples,sculpted green gown with pink bodice and
dainty flower pattern,posed standing upon a bisque
base that appears as a grassy patch,and posed as
though about to jump rope. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1910.
Value Points: rare large size with wonderful
expression and details of sculpting and decoration.
