Description
6" (15 cm.) Sculpted hips-up porcelain figure of a
lady with her right arm uplifted as though in
greeting,and her left hand held behind her
head,the lady has brown sculpted hair captured
under a gold cap,exquisitely painted facial
features,a sculpted green shawl with painted
delicate flowers of a peasant style blouse and
lace bodice,and a blue skirt overlaid with a
flower-decorated apron. There are sew holes at the
skirt/apron base indicating its purpose to be
attached to pin-cushion base. Excellent condition.
With blue Herend mark. Hungary,circa 1900.
