22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with amber-tinted
complexion,large brown glass eyes,thick dark
eyeliner,black brush-stroked brows,painted
lashes,accented nostrils,open mouth with shaded
and outlined lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced
ears,black mohair wig,French composition and
wooden body jointed at shoulders and hips.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: + 4
(incised). Comments: French,mystery maker,circa
1890. Value Points: fine quality of bisque with
beautiful complexion,large dramatic eyes,the
mystery lady wears her original multi-layered silk
and cotton costume,with traditional slippers.
