Description
4.5" (11 cm.) - 5 1/2". Each is porcelain waist-up
figure of adult lady with elaborately-sculpted
hair,bonnet and costume,with beautifully-painted
facial features,all in the 18th-century romantic
style; one having very stylized grey powdered hair
with a single rose and ringlet curls onto her
shoulders,very ornate sleeves of low-bodice
blouse,holding a vase of flowers; another with
light brown pompadour-hair decorated with
tri-color plumes,and a fancy ruffled bodice with
large pink bows,her arms extend with yellow
bracelets and holding a single rose bud; and the
third with original skirted pin-cushion base (9"
overall) with rare brown hair topped with a
Charlotte bonnet decorated with pink Dresden roses
that are repeated by the flowers she holds in her
extended arms. Germany,circa 1900. Excellent
condition.
