18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with golden-sienna
complexion,brown painted upper glancing eyes,black
upper eyeliner,black one-stroke brows,accented
nostrils,closed mouth with richly-shaded
lips,black mohair braids,sienna-tinted composition
and wooden ball-jointed body,antique kidskin and
beaded costume. Condition: generally excellent.
Marks: 1303 Germany S&H 1. Comments: Simon and
Halbig,circa 1912. Value Points: very rare doll
with superb detail of sculpting especially
featuring strong pronounced nose and cheek
bones,furrowed details around bridge of nose and
mouth,fine patina of rich complexion,original body
and body finish.
