13" (33 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of young
girl posed standing with arms uplifted,palms open
as though eagerly reaching for an object; having
blonde sculpted hair with tousled curls,waved away
from her forehead and held by a pink sculpted
bow,blue upper glancing intaglio eyes,painted
features,closed mouth with impressed dimples,and
having full-length sculpted night-gown with
sculpted detail of lace and ruffles that extends
all around front and back. Marks: (Heubach
sunburst mark) Made in Germany. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1910. Value Points: wonderfully
characterized expression with very fine detail of
sculpting of hair and facial features.
