16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head,blue glass flirty eyes,mohair lashes,slightly-modeled brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,original brunette human hair wig over cork pate,carton torso containing clockwork mechanism,one piece legs with attached leather-over-metal feet having rollers on soles,composition and wooden ball-jointed arms. When keywound,the doll alternately lifts her legs as though walking,and "rolls" along,moves arm up and down as though blowing kisses,and "flirts" with eyes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1039 dep. Comments: Fleischmann & Blodel,the walking doll mechanism with flirty eyes and kiss-throwing arm was deposed by the firm in February 1897. Value Points: preserved in superb original condition,the doll has rare mohair lashes,original wig,body,functioning mechanism and wears her factory original rose silk dress and matching bonnet.
