52" (132 cm.) w. x36"h. (excluding chimneys) and 23"d. (including base). The large wooden-
framed two-story wooden doll house has a removable front to reveal four large interior rooms
and two-story center hallways with well-fitted staircase and banister. The two lower-floor
rooms each have a fitted fireplace and mantel,and each room has hardwood floor and cream
walls. There is an attached two-story anteroom at the side,also with detachable front,fitted as
a bathroom on the upper floor and as garden room on the lower floor. The house front
features 9 large glass windows,each with 24 painted panes,and green shutters,and a center
front door with painted half-moon window,painted door paneling,and architectural door
eave,and there are four windows on the right side. The roof hinges open on both the main
house and the ante-house for attic access,and the entire house rests upon its wooden frame
with faux-stone facade,nine front steps,and garden space at the front. Thee are two
chimneys. The house contains some contents,viz,two braided carpets,26 pieces of signed
Strombecker furnishings,wooden bathroom set,green wooden kitchen ensemble signed
Germany,and some others. Excellent original condition. American,Tynietoy,circa 1920s.
