16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with flat-dimensional face,black shoe-button eyes encircled by
painted white eye circles,dash brows,painted red diamond-shaped nose with black outline,six
lower lashes under each eye,thin line smiling mouth with blush spots just under each lip
edge,brown yarn hair,stitch-jointed arms and legs,red and white striped stockings,sewn on
black shoes,blue cotton flowered dress,pantalets,apron. Condition: very good,some spotting on
face,some yarn wear. Marks: Patented Sept 7,1915. Comments: early version of Raggedy Ann
with distinctive facial painting and brown hair,1915. Value Points: rare model to find,this
example with endearingly loved yet respectable state of preservation.
